These Host Terms supplement the Terms of Service. By listing an Experience, you also agree to those Terms.

Full Host Terms

1. Purpose and Relationship

1.1 These Host Terms apply if you list or deliver an Experience as a Host.

1.2 You are an independent provider. Nothing creates employment, agency, partnership, or joint venture with the Operator.

1.3 You are solely responsible for the Experience, including venue access, staffing, equipment, food, alcohol, transport, and compliance.

2. Host Eligibility and Identity

2.1 You must be legally able to operate the Experience and enter contracts.

2.2 You must maintain accurate identity, contact, and payout information.

2.3 You authorise verification checks where permitted (identity checks, fraud checks, and payment risk checks).

3. Listing Standards

3.1 Listings must be accurate, complete, and not misleading.

3.2 Minimum required disclosures:

  • Exact inclusions/exclusions (food, drinks, equipment, transport).
  • Location area (and exact address disclosed at the stage specified by the Platform).
  • Duration, capacity, and age restrictions.
  • Physical intensity, prerequisites, and accessibility notes.
  • Allergens and dietary handling (for food).
  • Alcohol service conditions (if any) and licensing statement.
  • Safety instructions, gear requirements, and weather constraints.
  • Any third-party providers involved.

3.3 Prohibited representations:

  • "Guaranteed outcome" statements.
  • "Operator verified/approved" unless explicitly stated by the Platform.
  • Claims implying the Operator organises or runs the Experience.
4. Compliance Warranties

4.1 You represent and warrant that, for each Experience:

  • You have all lawful rights to use the venue and conduct the Experience there.
  • You hold and will maintain all required permits, approvals, registrations, and licences.
  • You will comply with all applicable laws, including safety, consumer law, local council rules, and industry codes.
  • Your listing is truthful and not misleading.
  • You will not infringe third-party rights (music, images, brands, IP).

4.2 Food handling:

  • You warrant that food is prepared/served safely and lawfully.
  • You must disclose allergens and take reasonable steps to avoid cross-contamination as represented.
  • You must not make medical claims or provide diet/health advice.

4.3 Alcohol: You must comply with liquor licensing laws and are responsible for any intoxication management and responsible service requirements.

4.4 Outdoor/physical activities:

  • You must provide appropriate risk disclosures.
  • You must not exceed your qualifications.
  • You must implement reasonable safety measures for the activity type.
5. Insurance Mandate

5.1 You must maintain adequate insurance for your Experience type. Minimums may be specified by the Platform.

5.2 You must provide evidence of insurance on request within 48 hours (or other period specified).

5.3 If you do not maintain required insurance, the Operator may:

  • pause your listings;
  • suspend your account;
  • hold or offset payouts; and/or
  • remove the Experience.
6. Pricing, Fees, and Payouts

6.1 You set the base price for your Experience subject to Platform rules.

6.2 The Platform may charge Guests a Platform Service Fee and/or charge you Host Fees and Processing Fees, as displayed in your Host dashboard.

6.3 Net Payout. Your payout equals the amount collected for the Booking minus:

  • applicable Platform fees;
  • payment processor fees;
  • refunds, credits, adjustments;
  • Chargebacks and related penalties;
  • taxes/withholdings where required by law.

6.4 The Platform may show Guests the total price they pay and may show Hosts the payout net of fees. You must not misrepresent the Platform's pricing.

6.5 You authorise the Operator and its processor to disburse payouts to your nominated account.

7. Cancellations, Reschedules, No-Shows

7.1 Your cancellation and reschedule rules must be consistent with the Platform's Guest policy, and any additional Host rules must be clearly disclosed in the listing.

7.2 Host cancellation is a high-trust breach. If you cancel, you may be subject to:

  • refunds/credits to Guests;
  • platform penalties;
  • reduced search visibility;
  • temporary suspension.

7.3 No-shows: Guests are responsible for arriving on time. You must document attendance disputes through Platform messaging.

7.4 Safety-based cancellation. You may cancel or modify an Experience for safety reasons (weather, venue closure) but must promptly notify Guests via Platform tools.

8. Safety Incident Handling

8.1 You must have an incident response plan appropriate for the Experience.

8.2 You must report serious incidents to the Platform within 24 hours, including:

  • injury requiring medical attention;
  • police involvement;
  • alleged assault, harassment, or serious misconduct;
  • significant property damage.

8.3 You are responsible for complying with any legal reporting obligations.

9. Communications and Off-Platform Bypass

9.1 You must not solicit off-platform payments or attempt to bypass Platform fees.

9.2 You must keep booking-critical communications on-platform for evidence and safety.

10. Reviews and Conduct

10.1 You must not manipulate reviews.

10.2 You must not retaliate against Guests who leave negative reviews.

11. Indemnity

11.1 You indemnify the Operator from all claims and losses arising from:

  • your Experience;
  • your breach of law or these Host Terms;
  • injury/illness/death or property loss related to the Experience;
  • food safety, allergens, alcohol service, licensing issues;
  • disputes, Chargebacks, refunds, and penalties caused by your actions or omissions.

11.2 The Operator may offset amounts you owe against future payouts.

12. Enforcement

12.1 The Operator may suspend, delist, hold payouts, or terminate your Host access where reasonably necessary for safety, compliance, fraud, dispute handling, or platform integrity.

12.2 The Operator may require remediation steps before reinstatement.

13. Recordkeeping and Evidence Preservation

13.1 You must keep records reasonably necessary to respond to disputes and regulator queries (e.g., permits, insurance, incident logs).

13.2 You authorise the Operator to store and provide evidence to payment processors and law enforcement where required.

14. Governing Law

These Host Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.

15. Host Representations and Warranties (Detailed)

15.1 You warrant that you will:

  • maintain accurate calendars/availability;
  • honour confirmed Bookings, except for genuine safety or force majeure reasons;
  • not discriminate unlawfully;
  • maintain clean, safe, and lawful premises or obtain lawful access to third-party premises;
  • provide any required safety equipment you claim to provide;
  • comply with noise, alcohol, food, and public gathering laws.
16. Payments Compliance

16.1 You must not use the Platform for money laundering, fraud, or prohibited payments.

16.2 The Operator may request additional information to satisfy risk controls, and may suspend payouts if not provided.

17. Advertising Standards

17.1 You must not use misleading "before/after" claims, fake scarcity, or deceptive pricing.

17.2 If you advertise "family friendly", "allergen safe", "licensed", or "insured", you must be able to evidence it.

18. Subcontractors and Co-Hosts

18.1 If you use assistants or subcontractors, you remain fully responsible for their conduct and compliance.

18.2 You must ensure subcontractors are appropriately trained and insured.

19. Survival

Indemnities, payment recovery, evidence preservation, and compliance representations survive delisting or termination.
