We built The Shared Table Story on a simple belief: what you share should always be your choice. Here's how we look after your information so you can focus on what matters — good food, good company, and great conversations.
At a Glance
- 1 We collect your name, email, and booking details — just what's needed to bring you to the table.
- 2 Your financial information is processed securely and never stored on our servers.
- 3 We never sell your personal information to anyone.
- 4 You're in control — update, download, or delete your data whenever you like.
- 5 We're always here to help. Reach out through our Contact Us page and we'll get back to you as soon as we can.
What We Collect & Why
Your contact details (name, email, and phone number) and your booking information. We collect this so we can keep you informed about your bookings, share relevant updates, and make sure everything runs smoothly.
Who Can See Your Information
When you book an experience, your host receives your contact details so they can help with logistics, share any requirements, and make sure you have a great time. Fellow travellers you've chosen to connect with can also reach out to you — but only when you've accepted the connection. Beyond that, your personal information stays with us. We don't share it with anyone else, and we will never sell your data.
Your Choices
You're in control of your information. You can:
- Update your profile details anytime from your account settings.
- Opt out of marketing emails with one click.
- Request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account.
Just head to your Settings page or reach out to us through the Contact Us page.
How We Keep Things Safe
We take your security seriously. Your login sessions are encrypted, and we follow industry best practices to protect your information.
We only keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal information is removed — except where we're required by law to keep certain records (like transaction history for tax purposes).
